About Me

Aloha and welcome!  My name is Jenna Clarke.  I was born and raised on the North Shore of O’ahu in Hawai’i.  In my personal life, I’m a wife, momma, daughter, sister, friend, essential oil user, connect group leader, and follower of Jesus. My husband is a kiwi from New Zealand, so we spent the first 7 years of our marriage living in Aotearoa.  We moved back to O’ahu in November 2013.

I’m the Owner and Founder of Malama Health and Wellness –  a natural health, wellness, and doula service. Malama Momma provides labor and postpartum

doula services, including lactation support, postpartum belly binding, newborn care, and infant sleep coaching.  I also offer classes and consultations on how to naturally prepare your body for conception, support your body during pregnancy, and use essential oils in labor, birth and beyond.

Both of our beautiful daughters were born at Birthcare, a primary birthing center in Auckland, New Zealand.  I planned for and was blessed to experience two wonderful, natural child births under the care of my midwife.  Through these experiences and my background in health system management, I became more aware of the maternity system in America.  When we moved back to Hawai’i, I transitioned out of my professional career to start Malama Health and Wellness. A year later, I completed doula training and have been offering birth and postpartum services for the past 4 years.  Click the PDF to download my professional overview.

Malama is Hawaiian and means, “to care for”, “to protect”.  My hope and prayer is to offer my services to empower you to care for and protect your journey into parenthood. Becoming a parent changes you forever and having a doula can make the experience so much smoother.

I look forward to meeting you either here in Hawai’i, in your area, or online.

Mahalo nui loa,

Jenna Clarke
